Guest Ready

You never get a second chance to make a 1st impression, your vacation rental should be guest ready upon guest arrival and throughout their stay. Before every booking we ask for a walkthrough to be performed to ensure your property is 100% guest ready. 

Key points to ensure guest readiness are as follows 

  • Guests are able to enter the home easily. (I.e., lock code, lock box)  
  • Amenities and appliances are in safe working order 
  • Home is stocked with basic amenities and supplies

 

Your top priority should be providing guests with a safe and secure home. Your home needs to be compliant with all local fire and safety regulations. This includes being equipped with fire alarms and carbon monoxide detectors. Click here to learn more about how to provide a safe and secure home.  

The number one cause of guest complaints is cleanliness. Every vacation rental needs to be cleaned to a professional standard prior to each booking.  The best way to maintain a spotless vacation rental is to perform regular post-stay cleans, pre-stay walkthroughs, and bi-monthly deep cleans. At the very least your vacation rental needs to be:  

  • Free of dirt, debris, mold, pests (insects and/or rodents).  
  • Reasonable care should be paid to the exterior of the property.  
  • All leftover food needs to be removed from the fridge and cabinets.  
  • Towels and linens are clean and fresh.  
  • Deep cleans are performed every other month.  

 

As Advertised

Photography and listing descriptions need to accurately represent your vacation rental in its current condition. Guests expect to arrive at a vacation rental that looks like what they booked.  

The rental needs to  

  • Match the pictures.  
  • Include every amenity described in the listing. 

 

Our Measures of Excellence is in place to back our Book with Confidence policy which assures guests that if they arrive at a Holy Toledo Property that does not meet our standards, we’ll make it right. This includes but is not limited to buying guests a meal, so they leave the property while it’s properly cleaned, hiring a local service to make repairs, issuing a partial refund. Holy Toledo Properties wants all guests to be able to Book with Confidence knowing that what they see is what they will receive.  

In the event of HTP being contacted to resolve a discrepancy, we will work to find a fair resolution for all parties. If the homeowner is responsible for not meeting/maintaining our standards, you will be held accountable for the costs of the resolution.
